Russian-Chinese naval military exercises in the Arabian Sea

 On Tuesday, Russia and China launched joint naval exercises in the western part of the Arabian Sea.

Russia sent a Pacific Fleet unit, which included the Varyag missile cruiser, the destroyer Admiral Tributes, and the Boris Potoma tanker.

The Russian Defense Ministry said the Russian and Chinese warships carried out tactical maneuvers and search operations, as well as a training mission to simulate the rescue of a captured ship.

 The exercises included evacuating the wounded by helicopter from the Russian destroyer to the Chinese one.



 As for China, it sent the destroyer Urumqi and the renovation ship Taihu.
